PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Trauma- Informed Somatic Practitioner & Bodyworker, San Francisco, CA, January 2016 -  present 

Worked with a diverse group of clients, both individuals and couples within my private practice. My work focuses on trauma resolution often with a focus on sexual trauma and relational trauma. I also offer counseling around relationships, sexuality and embodiment. My work with clients is a mix of talk counseling work, nervous system & trauma education, guided somatic practices and somatic bodywork. I work with clients both online and in-person. 


Trauma-Informed Sex Educator, San Francisco, CA, October 2019 - present 

Specialized in applying a trauma-informed lens to holistic sex education with a focus on female anatomy and reproductive health. I have been brought in as an expert to present in various online and in-person settings that range from groups of 5 to 100+ people. I also apply this work in my private practice when it is appropriate for individuals and couples journeys. 


Trauma-Informed Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Coach, February 2021 - present 

Offered trauma-informed education and coaching around preparing for psychedelic therapy. This work includes trauma and nervous system education, counseling to address emotions and concerns, discussing the impact mentally, physically and spiritually from working with different  types of psychedelics therapeutically. I have also been a consultant to licensed therapists who are practitioners on how to address sexual and relational trauma as it arises within the psychedelic space. 

Holistic Herbalist & Educator, San Francisco, CA, December 2016 - present 

Worked with clients 1:1 through private herbalism consultations and have taught within a variety of settings from small-group classes to large 100+ person events. I have also run numerous workshops and class-series including a 200hr holistic herbalism training called “The Earth Keeper’s Medicine”. My work focuses on applications of Western and bioregional herbalism for holistic mental health support and female reproductive health. 


Head Herbalist, The Alchemist’s Kitchen, New York, NY, January 2016 - July 2016 

Responsible for publishing educational materials on herbalism, leading bi-monthly educational workshops for the public, training staff around herbal products, offering private herbal consultations for clients, writing for the company’s blog, helping to source and develop the herbal apothecary in store. 


Farm Owner & Manager, Two Peas in a Pod Farm, Pound Ridge, NY, September 2014 - August 2015

Head manager and sole proprietor of Two Peas in a Pod Farm. Responsible for all day-today field operations, training interns, financial planning, marketing, sales, and business needs of a 2 acre organic, sustainable farm, focused on cultivating medicinal and culinary herbs, flowers, and heirloom vegetables.  


CSA Distribution Manager, Riverland Farm, Sunderland MA, June 2014 - October 2014

Responsible for running and maintaining CSA share pick-up, as well as, managing retail sales on site. Experience with register work, bookkeeping, inventory, stocking, as well as, registering new CSA members. Extensive knowledge of local, organic produce production, flowers, and herbs. 


Farm Apprentice, Weavers Way’s Mort Brooks Farm, Philadelphia PA, April 2013 - December 2013

Gained an in depth knowledge about organic farming practices and land management techniques, while working on the main production farm for a 5,000 member co-op. Helped manage the weekly farmer’s market stand at the Head House Farmers Market. Performed field tasks and greenhouse work, such as, seeding, preparing bed, fertilizing and amending soil, organic pest control, setting up and managing irrigation, and harvesting crops. Coordinated and worked with co-op volunteers and educational groups that visited the farm site. 


Farm Intern, Share Food Philadelphia, October 2012 - December 2012

Performed field and garden tasks, including planting, harvesting and maintaining Share’s urban farm space. Assisted with Share’s educational programing and urban farm tour groups. I helped manage Share’s on-site farmer’s market stand, which serves to provide access to healthy, organic food to North Philadelphia neighborhoods, by selling EBT, SNAP and WIC accessible produce .


Media Intern, Center for Sustainability Education, Dickinson College, June 2012 - August 2012

Designed sustainability programming and educational resources for the 2012-2013 academic year. Redesigned the center’s sustainability education blog. Wrote and published a Green Living Guide for Dickinson College. Worked on graphic imaging and editing for the center’s publications through the use of Indesign and Microsoft Publisher.
